Our Wedding Portraits
My husband Luke & I got married on June 7th, 2024, and when it came to our wedding portraits, we really wanted them to feel simple, intentional, and focused entirely on the two of us. Instead of anything overly styled or complicated, we leaned into a timeless, romantic feel—capturing us in a way that felt natural, relaxed, and true to who we are as a couple. For my look, I wore my hair half-up, half-down with a classic soft glam makeup style. I wanted everything to feel effortless but still elevated—like the best version of myself without feeling overdone. My dress and veil were both from a small bridal boutique in Michigan, which made the experience feel even more special. I spent so many summers there growing up, so it already holds a lot of meaning for me. Finding my dress in such a personal, intimate setting just felt right for the day.
Looking back at these photos, I love that they reflect exactly where we were at that time—at the beginning of everything, just the two of us.
