Target Pottery Barn Crib Dupe
As a first-time mom, I’m trying to be mindful about where I spend. I’ve always loved Pottery Barn, but I couldn’t justify spending thousands on a crib when there are so many beautiful, safe options available for a fraction of the price. I also love dark wood and really wanted something that captured that classic Pottery Barn aesthetic so when I found this “dupe” from Target, I fell in love!

This crib was actually one of the very first things my husband and I bought, we randomly caught it during a 20% off sale, which felt like such a win. We did a Target pickup order and ended up building it the very next day. It was super easy to put together, and honestly it looks even better in person! The crib we chose is the Delta Children Serena 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in teak brown, and I love that it’s not just pretty, it’s also practical. Since it converts as the baby grows, it feels like something we’ll be able to use for years, which made it feel even more worth it. So far, it’s one of my favorite purchases we’ve made, and it made me even more excited to start putting the whole nursery together!
For the mattress, we decided to go with the Newton Baby Breathable 2-Stage Crib Mattress, mainly because of the safety factor. As a first-time mom, that’s something I think about a lot, and I kept coming back to this one after hearing so many good things about it. I really love that it’s breathable, it just gives me a little extra peace of mind. It also has a firmer side for when they’re a newborn and a softer side for later on, which made it feel like a really practical choice too. Overall, it just makes me feel good knowing we’re creating a safe, comfortable space for our baby.
