Best Lip Filler for Natural Looking Lips
This post is all about the best lip filler for natural looking lips! For the longest time I considered getting lip filler, but I was so scared that they wouldn’t look natural! After doing some research and finding the right medical spa I decided to go for it. I haven’t regretted the decision to get my lips filled once! They make me feel so much more confident, & I absolutely love them. Of course, I’m not suggesting that you should get filler. I simply wanted to share my suggestions based on my personal experience!
My Before (left) & My After (right)
To the left I had no filler, & to the right, I have lip filler in my top & bottom lips. My goal was to even out my lips because my bottom lip was always much larger than the top. I originally wanted to only get my top lip filled. However, my nurse suggested that it would look much more even if we injected both. I couldn’t agree more & I love the results!
Best Lip Filler for Natural Lips —
Through my research & personal experience, I’ve found that Restylane Kysse filler looks and feels the most natural! The solution doesn’t feel hard in my lips and I still have the same movement to make my normal facial expressions. They look SO natural, & I’ve had a great experience with the Restylane brand. I’m going to stick with it because it 100% works for me! Restylane is a little more expensive than other lip fillers, but you have to remember that this is your face we’re talking about! You definitely want to splurge and get the best product you can.
Does it hurt? —
Anytime a needle is involved, the procedure is going to hurt a little! Lol. Personally, I expected the pain to be WAY worse than it was. A numbing cream is applied ahead of time & I hardly felt anything!
At what age should I get filler? —
Personally, I think a lot of women are starting to get cosmetic procedures done way too young. I know I felt the pressure to get filler when I was 21, but looking back I’m SO glad I didn’t start until my late twenties. I know myself, and I would have overdone it had I started in my early twenties lol. I would have looked so un-natural! I think 27 & up is an appropriate age to start with filler but again, this is just my opinion!
How much filler should I get? —
If you’re interested in getting your lips filled I suggest getting a professional consultation ahead of time. This way, your nurse or medical professional can give their expert opinion on how much you need etc. I got around 1 ml and it gave me the plump pout that I was looking for! A lot of people start with .08 to 1ml of lip filler.
Final thoughts —
Overall, it’s important to find a highly recommended medical spa, & remember that only a licensed doctor, physician's assistant, nurse, or other medical professional is permitted to administer cosmetic injectables. Make sure to do your research if you’re interested in getting filler!
Although I love my lips — don’t feel the pressure to do a cosmetic procedure just because others are. I know the societal pressure for getting lip filler is high! Remember that this is absolutely not for everyone. You’re beautiful with or without filler, & you should only do what makes you happy!
