This post is all about how to clean a wedding ring at home, & how to clean your engagement ring! After getting engaged in April I quickly learned how often you have to clean a diamond ring for it to stay sparkling. I use this easy at-home method for casual cleanings & it’s been working great! —

How To Clean Your Engagement Ring

This method is approved by professional jewelers, & it can be used to clean a platinum ring or a gold diamond ring!

Step 1:

First, fill a microwave safe bowl with part Windex & part Dawn Dish soap

Step 2:

Next, place the bowl in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes WITHOUT your ring in it!

Step 3:

Take the bowl out of the microwave, & place your ring inside the mixture for 5-10 minutes

Step 4:

Use a soft toothbrush to brush your ring until it’s sparkling!

Step 5:

Rinse off the soap with water, & that’s it! You have a clean & beautiful engagement ring!

I hope you find this tip useful! I keep this mixture under my kitchen sink, & try to clean my ring every week. There’s no point to buying ring cleaners when you can make this one at home for half the cost!
