How To Wear Red Ballet Flats

This post is all about how to wear red ballet flats! Red ballet flats are trending for fall 2023 but they can be a little more challenging to style. Here are the top 5 ways to wear them!

5 WAYS TO WEAR RED BALLET FLATS

  1. Denim Jeans

Red ballet flats are a bold statement. You can wear them more casually with denim jeans & a casual jacket for a cute fall look!

2. Red Cardi & Black Skirt

Red cardigans are a classic, but they’re also very popular this fall. I sometimes like to think of styling outfits like a sandwich — Ex: red cardigan on top, other color in the middle, and finish the look with red shoes on the bottom. This way your outfit looks complete & stylish!

3. Cozy Shorts

This outfit is a little more of a Copenhagen styled outfit. I personally love it, but it’s not for everyone. This look works because she styled the red ballet flats with white socks, adding a more casual feminine style short, paired a white cardigan to balance the socks out, and then added a pop of color on top with her red bag & lip color. This outfit looks ‘thrown together’ but it is all very intentionally styled.

4. Dark Colors With a Pop of Red

I love this look. Matilda wore black denim and an oversized vintage jacket with pops of red, & finished the entire look with red ballet flats. I love that she made this look feminine with the ballet shoes. She could have easily added a black shoe and played it ‘safe’ but the red ballet flat makes this look SO stylish & unique.

5. Midi Skirt & Tank Top

This is a super easy way to wear red ballet flats. Midi length dresses and skirts are very trendy at the moment. Especially this 2000s style. Adding a tank top that is almost monochrome to the skirt blends into the look, & draws the eye down to the main clothing item; the red ballet flats. I also love that she styled her hair in a slicked back bun. This entire outfit really gives off an effortlessly cool vibe.
