Wilmington, NC Guide
My sister moved to Wilmington in 2024 and I’ve visited her almost every other month since! I’ve really gotten to know the area & I absolutely love it. We still have so much to discover there - but I wanted to list a few of my favorite spots below!
Coffee / Breakfast
Drift Coffee & Kitchen - Amazing brunch & coffee
Hidden Grounds Coffee - Cute coffee shop with hidden back patio area
Grumpy Grandpa’s Coffee - Coffee shop attached to a cute boutique
SUNdays - Beach vibe coffee shop
Blueberry’s Grill - Brunch spot
Lunch / Dinner
Chopt - BEST ceasar salad wrap
Chicken Salad Chick - Grab & Go chicken salad sandwiches (HEAVEN!)
Dockside - Great views / lunch
The Sailfish - Casual dinner with amazing views
Dram Yard - Cute vibe / Dinner spot
Tower 7 - Casual mex grill by the beach
Kipos - FUN late night cocktail spot (sometimes they have a DJ)
Perla Raw Bar - Amazing cocktails & seafood
Shopping / Activities
Yarns of Wilmington - Needlepoint store (best people ever)
The Loop - IYKYK (locals love getting their steps in on this 2.5 long path & call it ‘the loop’)
Sol Pilates - Noel is the owner and the best instructor I’ve ever had. She’s so talented, you’ll love her classes!
Airlie Gardens - Beautiful gardens especially in the spring! $10 entry
Wandering Cone - Amazing ice cream shop
Honestly, the best activity is just hanging out on Wrightsville beach & watching the surfers
