Feeding Items on My Baby Registry
Feeding feels like one of those categories where there are so many opinions, so I really tried to keep this part of my registry simple, practical, and flexible. I don’t know exactly what feeding will look like for us yet (breastfeeding, pumping, bottles, or a mix), so I focused on items that will support us no matter what direction we end up going in.
This is everything I added to my Babylist registry for feeding:

Bottles & Feeding Basics
I kept this section minimal because I want to see what baby actually prefers before committing to one full system.
On my registry:
- A starter set of newborn bottles (slow flow nipples)
- Extra bottle nipples in different flow stages
- Bottle brush for easy daily cleaning
Pumping Essentials
I added just the basics here so I’m prepared without overbuying too early.
On my registry:
- Breast pump
- Milk storage bags
- Milk storage containers
- Hands-free pumping bra
Nursing Support
For breastfeeding comfort and those early postpartum days:
On my registry:
- Nursing pillow
- Nursing pads (disposable)
- Nipple cream
- Burp cloth sets (I know we’ll go through a LOT of these)
Cleaning & Sterilizing
I’ve heard how often bottles and pump parts need to be cleaned, so I wanted to make sure I was set up for that.
On my registry:
- Bottle sterilizer
- Baby-safe dish soap
- Pacifier wipes / cleaning system
Feeding Extras
The “nice to have” items that make everyday feeding feel a little easier:
On my registry:
- High chair (for later on)
- Waterproof bibs + soft bib sets
- Bottle warmer (optional, but I’ve heard it’s a game changer for night feeds)
- Formula container (just in case)
- Extra burp cloth sets
My Registry Thoughts
I really tried not to overthink this category or commit too early to one “perfect system.” Feeding can look so different for everyone, so I focused on the basics that feel universally helpful no matter how things unfold.
I’m sure this will evolve once baby is here, but for now this feels like a really good starting point 🤍
